We use high-quality columnar or granular activated carbon as a carrier, which is precisely infused with specific chemical agents. This process equips the carbon with targeted chemical adsorption and catalytic conversion capabilities, specifically designed to efficiently remove particular contaminants that conventional carbons struggle with.

Selecting high-adsorption carbon base → Impregnating with specific chemical solutions (e.g., KOH, NaOH, Ag, H₃PO₄) → Precise drying and curing at 130°C – 180°C to ensure stable loading of active components.

Impregnated Activated Carbon Types

Xingsen Impregnated Coal Extruded Pellet Columnar Activated Carbon

Xingsen Impregnated granular activated carbon uses cylindrical activated carbon particles (made from coal, coconut shell, or other raw materials) as a carrier. Through processes such as immersion, adsorption, or chemical reactions, specific chemical substances are introduced into its pore structure.

The main impregnated is  KOH, NAOH, K2CO3, KI, CuO, Copper, MgO, KMnO4, FeCl3/iron/Fe, Zinc/ZnCl₂,  and other chemicals to remove acidic gases such as H2S .

HgCl2 can be impregnated as a catalyst activated carbon.

Sulfur(S) impregnated activated carbon can be used for removing mercury.

KI impregnated activated carbon is also employed for mercury removal.

As well as impregnation with various metal compounds for specific adsorption efficiency of harmful substances.

Xingsen Impregnated coconut shell activated carbon is a specially treated type of activated carbon derived from high-quality coconut shells. These shells, known for their hardness and dense fiber structure, serve as an ideal raw material for producing high-performance activated carbon. The manufacturing process involves several key steps:
Carbonization: The pre-screened and processed coconut shells are heated at high temperatures (typically around 600°C) to decompose organic matter, forming a carbonized product that retains the basic skeletal structure of the shells while removing most non-carbon elements.
Activation: The carbonized material is then subjected to an oxidation-reduction reaction with activating agents such as steam or carbon dioxide at even higher temperatures (approximately 900°C). This process creates a highly porous structure, significantly increasing the surface area and adsorption capacity of the activated carbon.
Impregnation Treatment: The activated carbon is immersed in solutions containing specific chemical substances, including zinc chloride, phosphoric acid, potassium hydroxide, iodides, and amine compounds. Through this process, the chemical agents penetrate the internal pores of the carbon, reacting with surface functional groups or depositing within the pores. This modifies the surface properties and chemical composition of the activated carbon, enhancing its adsorption specificity and performance for targeted applications.

Through impregnation with various chemical agents (such as iodides, KOH, NaOH, amines, metal salts, etc.), the pore structure is directionally modified to enhance the adsorption capacity for specific substances. For example, activated carbon impregnated with KOH exhibits 30%–50% higher adsorption efficiency for H₂S (hydrogen sulfide) than ordinary activated carbon, and its adsorption rate increases by over 50%.
